For risk assessments involving chemicals, the chemical hazard information and SDS is linked in from the system.
The chemicals are linked from their data sheet to any risk assessments in which they are involved for easier access
Automatic, semi-quantitative storage risk estimation
Storage risk is automatically estimated without any user interaction. It depends on storage conditions and the hazards of the chemical itself. Possible storage improvements are recommended to lower the risk to its minimum ALARP (“As Low as Reasonably Practicable”). It is a simple tool to help the user to pinpoint possible time bombs!
Incident and near miss reporting
LabCup’s incident reporting section allows users to quickly record incidents and near misses, which are then submitted to the Safety Officer
Reports are always linked to the chemicals/items involved
Instant notification to the Safety Officer
LabCup automatically learns from the incident reports using artificial intelligence (AI), and helps provide a more accurate risk rating for each chemical
Safety Officer oversight
The Safety Officer, at group/department/campus level, has oversight of all risk assessments.
They can search by location, risk rating, chemicals involved, and much more.
The Safety Officer also has approval right for risk assessments, and can view whether risk assessments are still valid or expired.
